Schwab Volunteers Help Out at The Gardens

Some 40 energetic and enthusiastic “Schwabbies” showed up at The Gardens of Hope Communities on May 25 to paint, plant and generally beautify the exterior of our North Park Hill residential community.

It was all part of the 15th Annual Charles Schwab Volunteer Week, during which Schwab employees and executives from 170 cities nationwide rolled up their sleeves, pitching in on over 500 service projects benefiting 292 local nonprofit organizations. Hope Communities was delighted (and grateful) to again be a beneficiary of their generosity this year. (Last year Schwab volunteers helped us build garden beds and a shaded pergola.)

Thanks to Schwab and their amazing volunteers for their admirable community service ethic! And though it’s a year away, we can’t wait to welcome them back next spring!
