Hope Communities is proud to partner with Gorman & Company to provide programs and services at The Tapestry, an innovative affordable housing development planned for Denver’s Uptown neighborhood.
Located across from The Colorado Health Foundation, The Tapestry is designed as a multigenerational, family-centered community that brings together housing, health, education, and supportive services in one place. The development will include approximately 190 affordable housing units, along with an early childhood education center, a health clinic, and dedicated space for community-based programming.
Hope Communities has been selected as the services partner for the project, providing direct programming and coordinating services delivered by other nonprofit partners. This work builds on our holistic model, ensuring residents have access not only to stable housing, but also to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive.
This partnership represents an important step forward for Hope Communities. As our first contract to provide services in facilities not owned by the organization, it marks the expansion of our role as a community-based service provider. The initiative has already led to additional partnerships and the development of a new social enterprise to support this growing area of work.
Construction of The Tapestry is expected to begin in fall 2025, with a long-term vision of expanding services to both residents and the surrounding community.
