Since starting our food distribution program at the height of the pandemic in 2020, we have partnered with several agencies to get fresh, healthy foods to our community. While we have been fortunate enough to be the recipient of several generous grants, often what we can buy simply isn’t enough to address the growing food insecurities. Hearing this and knowing our commitment to our residents and clients, Aurora Interfaith Community Services stepped in and offered to supplement what we buy with recovered food from their communities. We’ve been the recipient of hundreds of pounds of potatoes, onions, honeydew melons, oranges, apples, and so much more!
