Birthday Bags Volunteer Interest

Often, when we have a birthday in the community, the family is not in the financial position to provide a birthday celebration.  Hope Communities collects and distributes Birthday Bags, which come complete with the necessities for a small birthday celebration.  You can build as many Birthday Bags as you’d like, and this can be done individually or in groups!  Once complete, the bag(s) can be dropped off to our office at 2543 California Street, or our property at 4919 E Thrill Pl in Denver, where they will be stored until we can distribute them.

To build a Birthday Bag, you will need:

• Cake mix
• Frosting (Funfetti is always a hit!)
• Foil muffin pans for cupcakes
• Cupcake liners
• Birthday candles
• Small plates and napkins
• Birthday card from you
• Optional cups, decorations, small gift

To coordinate drop off, please fill out the below form, and our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch!  Please note, drop off does need to happen during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm), but if you cannot make these times, please let us know and we will work with you.
