Hope makes individual and family case management available to provide residents and neighbors access to needed community resources.
With a large number of refugee residents, Hope’s Program and Resource Navigators additionally promote and facilitate the understanding of the English language and American cultural nuances, especially as many of these families navigate systems and cultures that are completely new to them.
Program and Resource Navigators work at two locations to serve hundreds of families each year. By providing culturally responsive, on-site navigation services Hope is able to build trust and community, and enable children and adults to access the tools they need to thrive.
At our Hidden Brook property alone, Hope Communities provided over 720 services in the past year. Resident participation in this voluntary program is consistently over 50%, consistent with high-needs communities like those Hope serves.
