Resource Navigation
Hope makes individual and family case management available to provide residents and neighbors access to needed community resources.
Program and Resource Navigators work at two locations to service hundreds of families each year. By providing culturally responsive, on-site navigation services, Hope builds trust and community, and enable children and adults to access the tools they need to thrive.
Hope strongly believes in language justice and understands thatwhile residents all appear to speak fluently in English, that there are some topics – for discussion & learning – that are better done in their native language. Hope has staff who speak 21 languages to support these efforts.
Hope Communities provided housing, programs & services to over 3,200 people in 2022. The type and number of services changes with the shifts in environmental factors, client base, and new regulations/programs. During the pandemic, for instance, assistance with basic needs, connection to social benefits and access to quality healthcare has grown. Many residents and community members needed help they never needed before. For example, since the start of the pandemic more people than ever have needed food assistance. Hope provided more than 46,400 healthy meals during 2022.
Hope has expanded outreach to the broader community over the last 2 years. About 80% of clients in 2022 did not live on Hope properties. There was a 75% increase in clients over 2021, mostly of Afghan families from Thornton.
