Art & activity kits a hit with kids under stay-at-home orders

Last week, Hope staff and volunteers distributed art and activity kits filled with fun things for children to do while observing stay-at-home orders at Hope Communities. Staff member Laura Tran shared that “smiles, gratitude, and happiness” greeted the surprise deliveries for our families. Kits were filled with markers, activity books, other art supplies, notes of encouragement, and snacks— items that are currently a luxury for many of our families who were earning less than $30,000 per year before the pandemic crisis.
