The Gardens: Girl Scout Troop Visits Zoo

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my… and elephants, too! Thanks to generous donor Brad Baumgartner, the Girl Scout troop at The Gardens of Hope Communities, located in northeast Park Hill, visited the zoo last month. The troop formed in 2018 at the suggestion of The Gardens Resident Council and serves girls ages 5-18. The Girl Scouts’ focus to “develop a strong sense of self; seek challenges and learn from setbacks; display positive values; form and maintain healthy relationships; and identify and solve problems in the community” fits well with Hope Communities’ endeavor to promote independence and self-sufficiency.[tm-pg-gallery id=”6307″][/tm-pg-gallery]
